DOCTOR of CHIROPRACTIC
FOUNDERRuth graduated with honours from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2004. Since this time she has been working in private clinics throughout the area of south west London and Surrey and has built up an excellent reputation within the communities of these clinics, thanks to her success in the treatment of a wide spectrum of patients from children and pregnant women, to athletes and the elderly. During her professional career she has developed her interests and trained further in dry needling, rehabilitation, pregnancy and paediatrics, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation), kinesiology taping and is a qualified CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner). The extremity work is particularly important when treating sports injuries. Her history in professional dance gives her a unique foundation to help understand the stresses put through the body by such strenuous physical activities. In 2006 Ruth established her clinic in Weybridge and in 2015 has expanded with a clinic in St Margaret’s where she has built a team of like-minded professionals providing the best quality care in musculoskeletal health for the community. The techniques that Ruth uses will vary depending upon the requirements of the individual. Techniques may include diversified adjusting, mobilisation, extremity specific adjustments, cranial therapy, trigger point therapy, scar tissue treatment, dry needling, exercise and rehabilitation, active and passive releases, fascial unwinding, IASTM and taping. Ruth is registered with the GCC and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, the Council on Extremity Adjusting and the International Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic Paediatrics.
Ruth is recognised by BUPA, AXA PPP, HSA and most other UK and international insurers.

With over fifteen years of clinical experience, Dr Richard Spice combines deep expertise in human movement with a warm, problem solving approach to patient care.
Originally training in microbiology, Richard shifted his focus to chiropractic after realising his true passion lay in helping people directly. Since graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2009, he has developed a distinctive style that blends structural care with neurological insight – going beyond symptom chasing to uncover and correct the root cause of pain and dysfunction.
Richard specialises in complex cases – including chronic pain, balance disorders, and performance limitations – using reflex-based assessment, functional neurology, and a broad range of manual and neurological techniques.

M Tech CHIROPRACTICKate Wiseman returns to The Elphick Clinic. Initially Kate joined our team to cover the maternity leave of myself and Kanika and we absolutely loved having her as part of our team. The feeling was mutual, and we are so excited to have her back, joining us permanently!
a very sporty upbringing sparked Kate’s interest Chiropractic. Kate, competing provincially in Netball and Athletics, and her Dad, a South African Cyclist and manager of the South African Olympic Cycling Team.
Achieving a Masters Degree in Chiropractic from the Durban University of Technology in 2013, completing her Dissertation on “The effect of core strengthening on Cycling Performance”, she has also completed various Advanced Sports Chiropractic courses, including FICS Sports Chiropractic, Running Biomechanics and Shoe Prescription, Kinesio taping, and other Sports Injury Management and Rehabilitation courses.
Realising early in her Chiropractic career that she had another special passion; treating paediatrics and patients through pregnancy, Kate completed many Pregnancy and Paediatric courses culminating in a Post Graduate Certification in Paediatric Chiropractic Care with Distinction from the University of Johannesburg.
Kate also qualified as a certified Pilates Instructor in 2013, and Pilates for Pregnancy Instructor in 2014.
Kate’s treatments and skill set include various spinal manipulative techniques, dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation, rehabilitation, pilates, Kinesio taping, and other soft tissue therapies. Kate is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and Paediatric Chiropractic South Africa.

ITEC FA CSTA IAIM MFHT
Lesley qualified in both ITEC Physical Therapy and IFA Aromatherapy in 1991. She later qualified in ITEC Reflexology, CSTA Cranio Sacral Therapy and has a certification with IAIM in teaching infant massage. Lesley’s interest in fertility, pregnancy, preparation for childbirth, treating babies and children increased following the births of her three beautiful children. This led to further post-graduate training in these areas of expertise including maternity reflexology, Cranio Sacral for babies and children, Swiss reflex therapy, Clinical aromatherapy and others. She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
Lesley has been practicing complementary therapy in clinics throughout London, West Middlesex Hospital, The Royal Star and Garter Home and with stroke victims and MS sufferers for the last 26 years. Her reputation precedes her and we are very excited to have her at The Elphick Clinic.
